Patterned Text in Fireworks

This is a very popular effect which gives a beautiful pattern to the text. The three examples what you see on the right are given the patterns illusion, flame and oil paint. The following tutorial gives a stepwise instruction of how to apply the metallic pattern. You can try the other two effects following the same steps but different patterns have to be selected.

Step 1

Type a text on the canvas. Use a font which is bold and slightly bigger is size so that the pattern inside the text is clearly visible. The font used here is Geometr231 Hv BT of size 60.

Step 2

Select the text and click on Color Fill>Fill Option>Pattern, choose the pattern Illusion. The pattern is immediately applied to the text.
